Since our last update, 2 months have flown by for BlueTack with dedicated Emergency Response salvage teams responding to complex marine incidents in #turkey , #latvia and #poland.
Besides responding to marine casualties, we are here to mitigate marine risks – hence an update on the following 3 events:
➡ BlueTack supports the fuel transition and takes ownership in preparing its customers. On request of Beazley and together with Stream Marine Training and Bahamas Maritime Authority, Oliver Timofei of BlueTack was part of a panel discussion at the Lloyds Library concerning: “The Impact of Alternative Fuels for Shipping and Salvage”.
➡ For the UK & EIRE Spill Association Oliver Timofei together with Marcus Russell of Oil Spill Response Ltd jointly provided a webinar focusing on: “Alternative fuels, the rapid implementation of the new fuels and what the implications for Responders and Salvors”.
➡ Lastly BlueTack recently supported the “Electrical Vehicle (EV) Fire Webinar” for Ship Management International, Jankees Polderman of BlueTack together with UK Chamber of Shipping, Stream Marine Training and Beazley provided its thoughts and experiences when dealing with electrical vehicle fires onboard. What we can we do as an industry and especially how we can prepare ourselves with this added challenge when responding to a marine casualty.
