As part of BlueTack’s focus areas with being prepared for the industries alternative fuel solutions, BlueTack provided late October an in-house webinar for SIEM Car Carriers / SIEM Ship Management attended by over 55 SIEM employees. The webinar focused on where the potential risks lie when sailing with vessels with LNG as a fuel and in the event an incident would occur.
The webinar further focused on how such risk can be mitigated in the end to ensure SIEM Shipping are better prepared in the future. SIEM Car Carriers are one of the leading shipping companies that have embraced LNG as a fuel and presently sails with such unique type of vessels. SIEM Confucius and SIEM Aristotle are the first two LNG powered car carriers in the world. For BlueTack and the Blue Economy, applying LNG as a Fuel is an important step supporting the energy transition whereby LNG remains the least polluting fossil fuel, whilst ensuring global trade continues.
